I have been a little bit transparent in my last post and wanted to highlight some of the more good things happening in my life and the reason for those good things.
Christianity is my faith; I build my faith off of the bible by keeping a spiritual discipline of reading the bible almost every day. Before I used to do self-help books but, found it to be vain after learning about how it’s all about self. Christianity on the other hand is a practice to help you to care about others and to have love for others.
I really needed to have that in my life when I came to church again when in New York. I was desperate for the touch of God in my life. I had to start over from scratch in a new city and was unsure how things would develop at the time.
I was blessed with finding a church that was very loving, I was able to help in the food pantry on Saturday This started to be the beginning of opening the door to my spiritual journey.
Soon after I joined a life group about finding a Godly purpose in your life and I was so thankful for that because I always believed it was important to be purposeful in life just now this time around it was with a faith-based community and basing it on spiritual goals rather than self.
I still refer to the book now, it’s called S.H.A.P.E. Finding and Fulfilling Your Unique Purpose in Life by Erik Rees and I also heard about the book A Purpose Driven Life By Rich Warren. These books are a good way to find meaning when the world is saying so much about success being just about how to gratify your own desires.
After a while I was baptized again and I joined another life group about Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life. This is where a new dimension of Christianity opened up for me because I realized that I could through discipline live the Christian Life.
So, I committed to it, and it wasn’t an easy journey, but I think I came out on top with it. Sometimes I had concerns about how to give control over to God and in the end: I am happier that I did because I can call myself a Faith-based Entrepreneur or Faith-based professional, God made a way when I saw no way.
All I knew is I wanted to work with computers and become a computing professional, but the plan was unclear. Now I know I want to help protect people from cyberattacks and help make the world a safer place.
OSSU is very meaningful to me as a blueprint for how I can get to that end-goal even though I’m doing certifications right now and studied cybersecurity from a bootcamp. I think a commitment to life-long learning is essential to succeed in this field right now when so many people are struggling because of AI and the job market being bad right now.
My advice, give it to God, find your spiritual journey, self-educate yourself to find the path in life that will be rewarding and if you have followed your passion to get into tech you will find a way to make it, I believe.

That’s all for now. Leave a comment if you like.

Amen!
Humility will unlock your relationship with Jesus, Daniel I’m praying 🙏 that the Lord will lead & help you to glorify him with your God given gifts and help push back on the evil committed with advance technologies. Lean on God, not on your own understanding, humble yourself before God and he’ll put you on a straight path.
Proverbs 3:3-5 NLT
[3] Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. [4] Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation. [5] Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.
[6] Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
